Checkpoint

This morning we warmed ourselves up in the sun, and repaired equipment.  Unfortunately, my solar panel is broken ...
...A bit later in the day we were caught at the checkpoint to the national park.  We are detained with a praying priest in a room without windows. Passports seized, but at least there should be food!
... We had a delicious Hindu dinner! In the national park flying is not allowed and the border to China is close. When we leave here, we have to take the bus back to the South West and fly around the area. All the people have been very nice to us here, despite the circumstances!

Wir wärmen uns in der Morgensonne und flicken Material. Leider ist mein Solarpanel endgültig kaputt...
...Jetzt sind wir gefangen am Checkpoint zum Nationalpark, mit betendem Priester in Zimmer ohne Fenster. Pässe beschlagnahmt, aber immerhin soll es Essen geben!
...Haben ordentliches Abendessen auf hinduistisch genossen, abgefahren! Im Nationalpark ist kein Fliegen erlaubt und die Grenze zu China ist nah. Wenn wir hier wieder rauskommen, fahren wir mit dem Bus zurück nach Südwesten und umfliegen das Gebiet weiträumig. Alle sind hier sehr nett, trotz der Umstände!
